2015 AMVCA Predictions: Winners and Losers

The AMVCA is underway and this year, there’s even more at stake, from cash rewards, to diverse opportunities for Nollywood and African Cinema.

In support of the fast growing industry, which is currently the second biggest movie industry in the world, Amstel Malta will also be rewarding 4 award winners at the AMVCA with a million naira cash prize each: Best  Male in a drama, Best Female in a drama, Best Movie- Drama and Overall Best Movie (Movie of the Year).

In a bid to spice things up, a section of Nollywood fans have come up with predictions of likely winners in select categories. Here’s our best stab at how it might culminate in this year’s Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, with predictions of winners in multiple categories.
