Chioma Omeruah, a.k.a ‘Chigul’, is set to thrill Nollywood fans this summer as she features in the action-packed comedy film ‘Banana Island Ghost (B.I.G)’ by Biola Alabi Media and NEMSIA Pictures – Producers of “Before 30”.
Synopsis
B.I.G is a slapstick comedy about a ghost that is scared to go to heaven because he doesn’t have a soulmate, so he convinces God to give him three days to fall in love. He is paired with the cantankerous firecracker – Ijeoma, played by Chigul – who will do anything to save her father’s house in Banana Island from the bank coming to reclaim it in three days.
Banana Island Ghost (B.I.G) is the first from a slate of five (5) films in a co-production partnership between Biola Alabi Media (BAM) and Nemsia Films. They are combining their creative capabilities and wealth of experience to produce a slate of fresh, exciting,phenomenal films. Their world-class management, excellent casting and great timing that will show the Nigerian film industry why strategic partnerships are essential for producing top notch content.
B.I.G also stars industry heavyweights Ali Nuhu, Bimbo Manuel, Damilola Adegbite, Dorcas Fapson, Patrick Diabuah, Saheed Balogun, Tomiwa Edun, and Uche Jombo.
Chigurl landed her first Nollywood role in Genevieve Nnaji’s – “Road to Yesterday” in 2015.
