Abraham Attah Gets Lead Role For Upcoming International Movie

Rising child actor, Abraham Attah has landed another role to feature in a Nollywood movie alongside other foreign actors. The “Beast of No Nation” star this time plays the lead role in the movie.

The movie which is believed to be titled “Ade’s Story” is about a young West African boy who is determined to make it to Europe by using his football talent. Abraham Attah will play Ade’s role in the new movie which is believed to be a true life story. Acting alongside the Spiderman actor are British Nigerian Hollywood actors Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje of Suicide Squad fame, Isaach de Bankole who starred in both Casino Royale and Black Panther and Hakeem Kae-Kazim who played a part in Hotel Rwanda and Black Sails.

The producers of the movie have budgeted it at some $5 million and it is expected to release more top-notch actors and actress who will be involved in the movie soon including Nonso Anozie and Wunmi Mosaku who have been tipped for other supporting roles with a major British actor in consideration for a key cameo role. The story is crafted along the lines of famous hit movie, “Slumdog Millionaire”. Ade’s Story involves the heart-touching story of a West African boy’s perilous 6000 mile journey from Africa to Europe along the migrant routes in search of stardom at a top Premiership football club. The movie is written by screenwriter and producer of “The Riddle”, Brendan Foley and touches on themes of migration, human trafficking and the beautiful game of Football

Abraham Attah, 16, got his big break I the movie industry when he played “Agu” in war movie, “Beast of no Nation”. The actor received many international awards for his role. He is also the ambassador for the NPP government’s flagship program, Free Senior High School which has started in earnest.
